There's NO OBLIGATION, and your information is CONFIDENTIAL.

It only takes a few minutes. Let's get started!

  • We'll need some basic information about you and your spouse in order to file your divorce case with the court (if you decide to hire us). You are under NO OBLIGATION TO MAKE PAYMENT or enter into a formal attorney-client relationship at any time. All information is STRICTLY CONFIDENTIAL and is not shared with anyone. Don't worry, you don't need your marriage certificate to get divorced. By providing your contact information and clicking YES - CONTINUE, you are entering into and establishing a professional relationship with us. That means you are giving us permission to contact you to answer any questions you may have about our services or the process of getting a divorce and reply to any inquiries you might have via telephone and/or email. Please enter your information below. Enter your married name as it appears on your driver's license or state ID.
  • Date Format: MM slash DD slash YYYY
  • Enter the following information about your SPOUSE. (Remember to enter your spouse's married name as it appears on his/her driver's license or state ID.)
  • Date Format: MM slash DD slash YYYY
  • Are your or your spouse CURRENTLY actively serving full-time in the military?
  • Where were you married?
  • Thanks for your information. You're done with the hard part!

PA requires that EITHER you OR your spouse has resided in PA, (or have claimed PA as your military home of record) continuously for least 6 months prior to filing for divorce? (as long as this applies to ONE of you, you may get divorced in PA and you should answer "Yes").

Have EITHER you OR your spouse resided in PA for at least the past 6 months? (Only one of you needs to be a PA resident, the other spouse can live anywhere).

Note: Pennsylvania NOW RECOGNIZES same-sex marriages, and we are happy to provide our services to all.

  • So far, so good! You can get divorce in Pennsylvania. Let's see if you can get a fast and easy UNCONTESTED divorce.

Is your spouse willing, cooperative, and available to be divorced?

This means that you know where your spouse resides and he/she is willing to be divorced, and willing to be given (the legal term is "served") divorce paperwork by mail, in-person, by a friend, colleague, carrier pigeon, or any other way. Your spouse must also sign all divorce paperwork in the presence of a notary.
  • YOU CANNOT PROCEED AND NEED TO CALL OUR OFFICE AT 484-803-4562 TO DISCUSS A NON-CONSENT DIVORCE.
  • Great! Based on your information, we can get you an UNCONTESTED Pennsylvania divorce. Let's do a little housekeeping now.

In PA, you can only have one divorce or annulment case pending at a time. If you have already started a divorce or annulment proceeding that has not been officially discontinued, we can still represent you and get your divorce, but we will need to prepare and file a document that you and your spouse will need to sign that says neither of you will pursue any other cases that were already filed. The cost is $75 and will be added to your total. Have you or your spouse filed a divorce or annulment proceeding with a PA court that has not been formally discontinued? (Select the second choice if you have filed a case that needs not been formally discontinued).
  • You're almost finished! Now it's time to see how long YOUR divorce will take and how much it will cost if you hire us. Remember, there's no obligation!

  • How would you like your spouse to be "served" the divorce paperwork? "Service" is just making sure that your spouse receives the divorce paperwork that we will prepare. You can serve your spouse, or if you'd rather not have the hassle, we will serve your spouse for you.

It just gets delivered to the address you have provided. NO tracking information is provided. CERTIFIED delivery mail means that somebody at the address you have provided must sign for the mail. You WILL get a tracking number so you you can confirm delivery. RESTRICTED delivery mail means that ONLY your spouse may sign for the mail. You WILL get a tracking number so you you can confirm delivery. Mailing services are available for U.S. ADDRESSES ONLY, and include APO/FPO military addresses. NOTE: If your spouse is INCARCERATED, the facility may have specific mailing procedures and rules. We are not responsible for undeliverable mail.
  • Now we'll ask you if you need any additional divorce-related services and calculate the total cost if you were to hire us. Remember, you're not under any obligation to pay. Do you need a settlement agreement prepared to address issues such as the division of marital assets/debts, spousal support/alimony, or child support/custody/visitation. It's almost always better to put everything in writing now than to worry about going to court to battle out disagreements later. There is no requirement to have a settlement agreement, however, you do so at your own risk. We can prepare a Settlement Agreement if you and your spouse agree about how you want to handle your children AND/OR property (including child support/custody/visitation or custody, alimony, retirement benefits such as pensions, IRAs and 401(k)/403(b) plans, financial and banking accounts, real estate, vehicles, money, mobile homes, health insurance, attorneys fees and expenses, any other personal property, debts, etc.). Qualified Domestic Relations Orders (“QDROs”) for retirement funds are available at additional cost (please contact us for QDROs). Pennsylvania law does not require that you enter into a Settlement Agreements in order to get divorced. However, you and your spouse may decide that you want an agreement in writing so there is no doubt about the details of the termination of your marriage and it acts as a sort of “safety net” just in case you disagree later. The agreement will be binding and enforceable as a contract in a court of law. You will both need to sign the agreement, and both of you will get a copy of the agreement. It will also be filed with the Court along with your divorce paperwork and enforceable by the divorce court. You can let us know at any time before the divorce is final if you want a Settlement Agreement, but the sooner the better, so we have time to prepare it for your review. We recommend that you enter into a Settlement Agreement before your divorce is final so you don't otherwise lose rights to property that you might otherwise have. Regarding child support/custody/visitation issues: There are typically 3 ways to handle support/custody/visitation. The first is for you and your spouse to informally agree on how to handle such issues- the court is not involved nor is your agreement in writing. The second way is to have such issues written in a settlement agreement as described above- the agreement will serve as your blueprint in dealing with your child/ren. The third way is to hire a local attorney to work out child support/custody/visitation issues in your Domestic Relations Section as a separate matter- if you wish, we can prepare a Settlement Agreement dealing with only property issues now. Note that any custody agreements involving children can always be modified by a court of law if it is found that the agreement is not in the best interest of the child/ren. Child support agreements can be modified if material and substantial change of circumstances exist and/or it is not in the best interests of the child/ren. I do not calculate child support amounts. You can find several PA child support calculators online, or if you decide to go to court, the court will do so for you. NOTE: WE WILL PREPARE YOUR SETTLEMENT AGREEMENT BASED ON INFORMATION THAT YOU PROVIDE US ON A SETTLEMENT AGREEMENT QUESTIONNAIRE THAT WE WILL SEND YOU. WE DO NOT NEGOTIATE THE TERMS OF YOUR SETTLEMENT AGREEMENT WITH YOUR SPOUSE OR YOUR SPOUSE'S ATTORNEY(S). You must also have chosen and pay for a divorce service in order to have a settlement agreement prepared. I do not prepare postnuptial agreements.
  • This can be helpful if you only have a 6-8 week divorce completion time and don't want the divorce to be put on "hold' while the settlement agreement is being drafted and then reviewed by you and your spouse.
  • Do you need to remove one spouse's name on a Pennsylvania property deed for $100?

This is available any time during or after the divorce proceeding, but you should let us know as soon as possible to avoid possible delays. You will need to send us a clear copy of the present deed as recorded (do not send the original), and we will prepare a new deed with the appropriate party removed. Just tell us whether the husband’s or wife’s name is being removed. Note: that even though a name can be removed from your deed, both names will remain on any mortgage(s) on the property, unless the person receiving the property refinances the mortgage in his/her own name. HOW IT WORKS: 1. We'll send you an email requesting that you email or mail us a COPY of your current PA deed. 2. We'll email you easy instructions and the new deed within 4 weeks of receiving the copy of your current PA deed from you. 3. You will file the deed at your local courthouse at the recorder of deeds. You may pay for only one deed change per session. If you have multiple deeds, then please go through checkout and pay for this deed change. Then return to our site as a "current client" and choose the deed change service for any other properties requiring a name removal. The filing fee for deeds various, all fees herein include drafting of the deed only. Additional filing fees will apply.
